Mythopoeic Awards
The Mythopoeic Society gives out four annual awards-two fantasy awards for literature, and two scholarship awards for scholarly books. The fantasy awards are divided into adult literature and children's literature. The scholarship awards are for Inklings Studies (books on J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, or Charles Williams).
All of the awards go to the book that "best exemplifies 'the spirit of the Inklings.'" The Inklings were a writers' group of sorts that included C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Charles Williams. They were Anglo/Irish writers who created outstanding fantasy and Christian apologetics.
Books can be nominated to the awards committee by Mythopoeic Society members.
