American Bookseller Association Awards
Description: The American Booksellers Association Awards annually gives out the Book Sense Book of the Year Awards. These awards replace the ABBY awards and have been given out since 1991. In addition to the winner, four Honor Books are also designated in each category. These awards recognize the "hidden treasures" that bookstore members of the American Booksellers Association most enjoyed recommending to their customers during the previous year.
The winners of each category receive a plaque and $2,500 will be donated to the charity of their choice.
