Tim Russert
A journalist and newscaster, Tim Russert has seen his books skyrocket nearly every bestseller list.
Born in Buffalo, New York in 1950, Russert is best known for his television work. He hosts NBC's Meet the Press and is the senior vice president and Washington Bureau Chief of NBC News. Reader's Digest called him "America's Best Interviewer" in 2004 and Washingtonian labeled him the best and most influential journalist in Washington D.C.
Russert graduated from John Carroll University and the law school at Cleveland State University. He also holds 29 honorary doctorate degrees and has received numerous awards for his broadcasting, writing, and charitable works.
Prior to becoming a journalist, Russert worked in the administrations of New York Governor Mario Cuomo and as a special counsel in the United States Senate.
Russert is married to fellow journalist Maureen Orth.
