Sharan Newman
A medieval historian, Sharan Newman writes a Guinevere fantasy series set in Late-Roman Britain and a Catherine LeVendeur mystery series set in 12th Century France. Her novels and short stories have earned her a Macavity Award and a Herodotus Award. She has three times been nominated for an Agatha.
As a historian, Newman has taught at Michigan State University, Temple University, and the University of California. She has a doctorate and a masters in medieval history.
