Lauren Myracle knows how to talk to teenagers so that they will laugh.
An author with an easygoing, accessible style, Lauren Myracle adopted the lingo of the Internet to produce her IM series with titles drawn from commonly used abbreviations. Her novels have won such recognitions as selection on the ALA "Best Books for Young Adults" list and spots on top ten lists by Booklist.
Born in 1967, Lauren Myracle grew up in Atlanta during the 80s and went on to earn English and writing degrees (including a Masters of Fine Arts in Writing for Children and Young Adults) from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Colorado State University and Vermont College.
