Jesse Kellerman
Jesse Kellerman burst onto the writing scene with brand recognition already under his belt. His two famous parents, Faye and Jonathan, helped to provide that. His writing, however, has its own style and has taken its own path.
Born in 1978 in Los Angeles, Jesse Kellerman attended an Orthodox Jewish elementary and high school. He then went on to study for a year at a men's religious seminary in Israel. Upon his return to the States, he enrolled in Harvard University, where he studied psychology.
It was at Harvard that he fell in love with the stage and spent a lot of time writing plays and producing them with the students there. Upon graduation, he went on to Brandeis University where he earned an MFA as a playwright. His plays were performed to sell-out crowds at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and in 2003 he was recognized with a Princess Grace Award.
Married now and living in New York, Jesse Kellerman published his first novel in 2006 and is planning to publish more.
