Jonathan Kellerman

It's easy to hear the voice of the extremely popular psychologist/private detective Alex Delaware when listening to the story of his creator's life. Jonathan Kellerman, award-winning author of the bestselling Delaware series is a resident of Los Angeles who has a PhD in psychology and worked at the Children's Hospital/USC School of Mediicne, where he became the founding director of the Psychosocila Program, Division of Hematology-Oncology.
Kellerman has published a novel every year since his first novel, When the Bough Breaks, was published in 1985-including more than 16 Alex Delaware novels, three "one-off" books, two children's books, and three volumes on psychology. He's won a Goldwyn Award, Edgar Award, and an Anthony award.
He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife, novelist Faye Kellerman, and is the father of four children. He recently told Bookreporter, "After 31 years of marriage, raising four great kids, our novels are just about the only pockets of privacy we have left."
