Anne Holt
Anne Holt has been hailed as one of Norway's best crime and thriller writers. It's praise backed up by more than three million books sold worldwide.
In addition to being a bestselling novelist, Holt is a former minister of justice and has been a lawyer, journalist, and TV news editor and anchor. She has lived in the United States and currently splits her time between Norway and France.
As of July 2006, only one of her books, What Is Mine, had been translated into English. It is the beginning of a trilogy.
