Leo Frankowski
Leo Frankowski burst into the science fiction scene with a nomination from the Campbell Award as the best new writer of the year. He proceeded to produce the Chronicles of Conrad Stargard.
Born in 1943, Frankowski was a scientist who worked with chemical and optical instrumentation, eventually earning seven patents. After getting fed up with political correctness and American women, he moved from Michigan to Russia where he picked out a wife from a dating service. He now lives in Russia where he is writing and working as a consulting engineer.
