Gardner Dozois

Gardner Dozois photo Gardner Dozois, born 1947, is one of the few well-known names in the science fiction field who has managed to garner more fame as an editor than as a writer. Perhaps that is because as editor of Asimov's Science Fiction magazine, he has become a powerhouse in the field of science fiction and fantasy.

The editor of a long list of anthologies and not-quite-as-long list of short stories, novelettes, and novellas, the number of times that Dozois has been recognized as Best Editor in the field by both the Hugo and the Locus committees is in the double digits.
