Tim Dorsey
Tim Dorsey left his career
as a reporter and editor for The Tampa Tribune to
successfully write satirical Florida crime novels. Like such writers as
Edna Buchanan, Dorsey was able to take his experience as a police and courts
reporter and translate it into fiction with a wide general appeal.
While Dorsey now focuses on producing crime novels, he does still contribute a monthly column to Tampa Bay Illustrated.
