Darryl Brock

Darryl Brock has thrilled fans with his baseball novels. A former history and English instructor, Brock meticulously researches his novels, visiting libraries all over the country to find the details needed for his layered descriptions of daily life.

His second novel, Havana Heat, won the Dave Moore Award for the "most important baseball book of 2000." Brock lives in California with his wife, actress-teacher Lura Dolas. He's lived there for more than 30 years now, but in the past lived in Spain and Oregon.
